What it means

Licensed and cleared for bedridden care.

California requires a care home to have fire clearance before it can care for residents who are bedridden. Caring Corner’s fire clearance covers all six residents.

That means our home is approved to care for residents who are bedridden. Admission and continued residency depend on each resident’s individual care needs and our ability to meet them. If your loved one’s condition changes, we’ll talk with you openly about their care.

We also accept residents who are non-ambulatory, including those who use a wheelchair, based on their individual care needs.

Daily care

Care for every part of the day.

Our caregivers help with the everyday care your loved one needs, with patience and respect for their dignity.

Personal care

Help with bathing, dressing, grooming and personal hygiene.

Meals and drinks

Home-style meals from our kitchen, with help at mealtimes when needed.

Help with medications

Caregivers assist residents with their prescribed medications.

Awake 24/7

Caregivers are physically awake and available 24 hours a day.

Accessible bathrooms

Roll-in showers, grab bars and handheld shower heads.

Family visits

Visits are welcomed during our established visiting hours.

Working together

Residential care, alongside your loved one’s medical team.

Caring Corner provides non-medical residential care: a home, daily personal care, help with prescribed medications and caregivers awake around the clock.

If your loved one needs nursing care, such as wound care, it is provided by a licensed home health or hospice agency whose nurses visit the home, and their doctor continues to direct their medical care. If your loved one is on hospice, see how hospice care works at Caring Corner.

Before move-in, tell us about your loved one’s condition and needs, and we’ll talk honestly about whether our home is the right fit.
